TRUST AND VERIFICATION

How KRI verifies Guides

Guide verification is a structured review of required information before a profile can become eligible for shopper visibility—and an ongoing responsibility after approval.

Why KRI verifies Guides

A Guide profile can influence a shopper's decision to meet someone in a busy market. KRI therefore requires more than a name and service description before a profile becomes eligible to appear to shoppers.

Verification is intended to check that required setup information has been supplied, that important details are reasonably consistent, and that the applicant meets the marketplace requirements in place at the time of review. It also gives KRI a basis for requesting clarification and responding when later information raises a concern.

Complete and accurate profile setup

A prospective Guide provides account and profile information, a suitable profile photo, selected markets, services, specialties, availability details, and other information required by the application. The profile should describe real knowledge and the service the person can responsibly provide.

Information must remain accurate. Applicants should not copy another person's identity, claim knowledge they do not have, hide a conflict, or describe a service in a misleading way. Material inaccuracies can delay a decision or lead to a later review of an approved profile.

Information KRI may review

Depending on the application and services involved, KRI may review identity and contact information, profile details, the selected market, the applicant's description of local knowledge, service categories, specialties, submitted verification records, and receiving-account readiness.

KRI may compare information across the application, request a clearer image or explanation, or ask the applicant to correct incomplete details. Some checks may be performed by appropriate verification or payment service providers under their own processes and privacy terms.

Supplying information does not guarantee approval. KRI considers whether the required steps are complete and whether the available information supports safe and responsible marketplace participation.

Market knowledge and service review

A Guide should select only markets they genuinely understand and services they can explain and perform. A broad claim such as knowing every seller or guaranteeing the lowest price is not a substitute for a clear, realistic service description.

KRI may review whether the chosen market, specialties, service scope, fee, and profile statements are understandable and consistent. The purpose is to help shoppers compare offers without being misled about what a Guide can control.

Receiving-account and service readiness

Where the planned service requires a receiving account or Guide wallet, the applicable setup must be complete before the relevant marketplace features become available. The account details should belong to the appropriate person or authorised business and satisfy the provider's requirements.

Each active service should also have the information shoppers need to make a request, including the market, scope, fee, and any important limitations. Verification of identity alone does not make an incomplete service ready for booking.

Possible verification outcomes

An application may be approved, kept pending while review continues, returned with a request for more information, or declined. KRI may also limit approval to the markets or services supported by the information provided.

A pending or declined decision is not an invitation to create misleading duplicate accounts or submit another person's information. The applicant should follow the available review instructions and provide accurate clarification through official channels.

KRI may not always be able to disclose every detail of a safety, fraud, or security control. However, an applicant can contact official support when they believe relevant information was misunderstood or their account requires assistance.

What verification means

A verified status means that KRI completed the required review steps for that profile based on the information and marketplace requirements available at the time. It indicates eligibility to use the relevant Guide features; it is not a permanent certificate of character or a guarantee that every future service will meet a shopper's expectations.

Shoppers should still review the current profile, service description, fee, reviews when available, meeting arrangement, and booking details. Verification is one useful signal within a broader decision.

What verification cannot guarantee

Verification does not guarantee a Guide's conduct, availability, pricing, market access, communication, the quality of a seller's goods, or the outcome of a market visit. Information can change after it is reviewed, and no verification process can predict every future decision.

A Guide is still responsible for honest conduct and for delivering only the service accepted in the booking. A shopper remains responsible for personal safety decisions, purchase decisions, protecting sensitive information, and reporting something that appears wrong.

Ongoing eligibility and reports

Approval is not the end of the process. KRI may review a Guide again when identity or receiving-account information expires, profile details change, a new market or service is added, suspicious activity appears, or reports and disputes raise a reasonable concern.

KRI may ask for updated information, pause shopper visibility, restrict a feature, keep a matter under review, or withdraw verification when information is incomplete, inaccurate, expired, unsafe, or no longer meets marketplace requirements.

Reports are assessed in context. A report does not automatically prove wrongdoing, but credible safety, fraud, harassment, privacy, payment, or identity concerns may require prompt protective action while facts are reviewed.

How shoppers support a safer marketplace

Shoppers help by reading the current profile, keeping the booking scope clear, confirming the public meeting point, protecting account credentials, retaining useful records, and providing honest feedback based on what actually happened.

If a person, price, location, or service does not match the confirmed booking, the shopper should pause and clarify rather than feeling pressured to continue. Concerns can be reported through KRI's official support contact.
