KRI HELP
Frequently asked questions
Detailed answers for shoppers, prospective Guides, partners, and everyone following KRI's planned market launch.
About KRI and launch
What is KRI?
KRI is building a marketplace that helps shoppers discover local market Guides, understand the services they offer, compare visible fees, and arrange a market visit. The platform is intended to give both people clearer information before they agree to meet.
Read about KRIIs KRI already launched?
KRI is preparing for launch. The website currently provides product information, practical guidance, and waitlists; it does not promise that a live Guide service is already available in every planned market.
Which markets is KRI preparing for?
KRI is currently preparing around Balogun Market, Computer Village, Mile 12 Market, and Wuse Market. These are planned launch markets, and actual availability will depend on approved Guides, active services, schedules, and the final launch arrangements for each market.
Why is KRI focused on markets?
Busy markets often require local knowledge of sections, routes, service expectations, and practical conditions. KRI is focused on making that knowledge easier to request in a clear, organised way while leaving shoppers in control of their purchase decisions.
Does KRI sell the products shown in a market?
Not automatically. KRI is designed as a marketplace for Guide services, while goods are normally sold by independent market sellers. A booking or product screen should make any different arrangement clear before payment.
Shopper accounts and the waitlist
How do I join the shopper waitlist?
Use the shopper waitlist form on the KRI homepage and provide accurate contact information. Joining expresses interest in the launch; it is not a booking and does not guarantee a particular launch date, market, or Guide.
Join the shopper waitlistDoes joining the waitlist create a KRI account?
Not necessarily. A waitlist entry records launch interest, while account creation and access will follow the process presented in the app or website when those features are available. Keep any launch message and follow only official KRI links.
What information should I keep accurate?
Keep the email address, phone number, name, and other account details you provide accurate and under your control. Correct information helps with account recovery, booking communication, safety review, and support.
How should I protect my account?
Use a strong password that you do not reuse elsewhere, protect your device, and never share a password, PIN, or one-time code. If you believe someone gained access, secure the connected email or phone account and contact official KRI support.
Can someone else use my account?
You are responsible for activity on your account and should not allow another person to impersonate you. If a booking is for someone else, use only an available feature that clearly permits it and provide accurate information rather than sharing credentials.
Finding and meeting a Guide
How will I find a Guide?
When Guide services are available, shoppers should be able to choose a market and review relevant profiles and services. Compare the service scope, fee, market knowledge, availability, verification status, and other current details before sending a request.
When does a request become a booking?
A shopper sends a request with the relevant market, service, preferred time, and meeting information. The request becomes a booking only after the Guide accepts it, at which point both people should review the confirmed details.
Can I change a booking after a Guide accepts it?
Use the available booking communication or support process to propose a change. A different time, market, scope, duration, or price is not confirmed until both people agree and the current booking rules allow it.
Where should I meet a Guide?
Use the public meeting point confirmed in the booking. Avoid an unexpected private or isolated location, tell a trusted person about the plan when useful, and do not continue when the person or service does not match the booking.
Prepare for a safer market visitWhat if a Guide does not accept my request?
A request is not guaranteed to be accepted. The Guide may be unavailable, the timing or scope may not work, or the service may not fit. Where alternatives are available, the shopper can review another current service without pressuring a Guide to accept.
Becoming and remaining a Guide
Who can express interest in becoming a Guide?
Adults with genuine knowledge of a planned KRI market can express interest and provide accurate information during account and service setup. Eligibility also depends on completing the requirements KRI applies to the relevant market and service.
What should a Guide include in an application?
A prospective Guide should provide accurate account and profile details, a suitable photo, the markets they genuinely know, realistic services and specialties, and any verification or receiving-account information requested. The description should help a shopper understand what the Guide can and cannot provide.
What does KRI review before approving a Guide?
KRI reviews required profile setup, selected markets, services, specialties, submitted verification information, and receiving-account readiness. KRI may request clarification, keep an application pending, approve it, limit it, or decline it based on the available information and current requirements.
How Guide verification worksDoes verification guarantee a Guide's service?
No. Verification checks required information at a point in time, but it cannot guarantee future conduct, availability, price, seller activity, or the outcome of a market visit. Shoppers should still review the current service and use personal judgment.
Can a verified Guide lose access?
Yes. KRI may request updated information, pause visibility, restrict a feature, or withdraw verification when information becomes inaccurate or expired, marketplace requirements are no longer met, or credible safety, fraud, or conduct concerns require action.
Prices, payments, cancellations, and refunds
Who sets the Guide's service fee?
Guides set the visible fees for their active services. Shoppers should review the scope, expected duration, fee, and important limits before sending a request, rather than comparing price alone.
Are market purchases included in the Guide fee?
Normally, no. The Guide fee pays for the confirmed Guide service, while products are purchased separately from independent sellers. Any different arrangement or extra cost should be disclosed and agreed clearly before payment.
Does KRI hold Shopper payments?
Where the booking states that payment is direct, the shopper pays the Guide after the completed visit and KRI does not hold that Shopper payment. Users should follow the current payment instructions shown for the relevant booking as KRI develops its launch features.
Read the complete pricing and payment guideWhat if the requested price changes?
Ask why the amount changed and decide before the additional service or expense is incurred. A materially different scope, extra time, transport, or another optional cost should be explained and freely agreed; artificial urgency should not be used to force payment.
How do cancellations and refunds work?
The outcome depends on the terms shown for the booking, the timing, whether the Guide accepted or began the service, and the facts of the case. Keep booking and payment records and contact support when the available self-service process does not resolve the issue.
What records should I keep?
Keep the booking reference, confirmed service and fee, receipts, transfer references, and relevant messages until the matter is complete. Store records securely and avoid posting personal or financial details publicly.
Safety, reports, reviews, and disputes
What should I check before meeting a Guide?
Review the confirmed profile, service, market, time, fee, scope, and public meeting point. Keep control of your account, money, and belongings, and never share a password, one-time code, or bank PIN.
Read the complete shopper safety guideWhat should I do if I feel unsafe?
Move toward a safer public place and end the interaction if necessary. If danger is immediate, contact local emergency authorities, emergency services, or market security before sending a routine KRI support message.
How do I report a problem?
Use KRI's official support contact for identity mismatches, harassment, suspicious payment requests, privacy concerns, no-shows, or serious booking problems. Include the relevant profile, booking reference, time, market, and a factual explanation.
Contact KRIWhat makes a useful review?
Describe the service you genuinely experienced and focus on facts that would help another shopper. Do not exaggerate, threaten, publish private information, or use a review to pressure someone over an unrelated matter.
Does a report automatically remove a Guide?
Not always. KRI considers the nature, credibility, urgency, available records, and safety implications of a report. A serious concern may justify temporary protective action while the facts are reviewed.
Privacy, account controls, and support
Where can I get help?
Use the official support email or optional phone displayed on KRI's Contact page for account, Guide, privacy, legal, safety, payment, or partnership enquiries. KRI does not publish a guaranteed response time on this page.
View the official contactHow can I make a privacy request?
Contact official KRI support and explain whether you want to access, correct, delete, restrict, or otherwise manage personal information. KRI may need to verify your identity before acting so that another person cannot obtain or change your information.
Read the Privacy PolicyWhat should I never send to support?
Do not send your password, bank PIN, one-time code, complete card number, recovery phrase, or unnecessary identity documents. If evidence is relevant, remove unrelated personal information before sending it through an appropriate official channel.
Can I ask KRI to correct my account information?
Use available account controls first. If an important detail cannot be corrected there, contact support from the account's recognised email or phone and explain the change; identity verification may be required.
Where can I read the rules for using KRI?
KRI's Terms and Conditions explain eligibility, accounts, Guide services, bookings, payments, conduct, content, suspension, disclaimers, and dispute principles. The terms displayed for a specific transaction may also contain rules relevant to that booking.
